Coaches

RMG boasts one the states finest coaching staffs. It's not often a program can claim to have coaches with not only highschool experience, but also collegiate and pro level. Because of this, we feel confident in our ability to properly prepare players to move to the next level.

Nick Robinson HeadshotNick Robison - Robison grew up in Northbrook, IL and played 3 years of Varsity ball at GBN earning all-conference and all district 1st team honors. After graduating, Robison became a student/athlete at Rice University in Houston. He is the second player in school history to begin his career as a walk-on and earn a full scholarship. He graduated in spring 2003 with a degree in Psychology and Managerial Studies while playing as a regular starter for Rice and earning both WAC and Rice University Scholar Athlete Awards.

As a coach, Robison has trained young athletes for over 6 years. Aside from running and administrating RMG Hoops LLC and RMG Achieve NFP, he has coached several community teams ranging from 4th grade through H.S.

Rashid Smith HeadshotRashid Smith - Rashid Smith grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana. He graduated  as Salutorian of Peabody H.S. and won a State Championship.

Having played in H.S., coached for the College of Lake County and trained kids full time before joining RMG, Quincy knows what it takes for players to excel.

Quincy also coaches football as a Director for the Glencoe Titans and plays semi-pro for the Burlington Blue Devils.
